Arabica Coffee Rises To Highest Since Oct 10

NEW YORK - Arabica-coffee futures hit a two-and-a-half month high Friday as recent rains in top
grower Brazil raised some concerns about next season's supplies, a coffee trader said.
Arabica for delivery in March on ICE Futures U.S. rose as high as $1.1790 a pound, the highest
price for the most actively-traded contract since Oct. 10.
"It rained a lot and it can cause damage," said Thiago Cazarini, founder of Cazarini Trading
Company, a coffee brokerage based in Varginha, Brazil.
There is also very little coffee for sale due to the holiday week, Mr. Cazarini added.
