WORLD COFFEE PROSPECTS

Episodes of scattered showers and thunderstorms in Sao Paulo and Minas
Gerais Brazil during the next 48 hours will favor the flowering trees after
recent warm, dry weather. Drier weather returns for the remaider of the 7 day
period.
Drier weather benefits the maturing crop in southern Mexico and Central
America. The harvest gets underway in October.

favorable.
Rains through Vietnam has likely caused delays to the harvest of coffee
through the central highlands. The region has seen more rain early this week as
a typhoon tracks inland just north of the coffee areas.
