HANOI: Vietnam's domestic coffee prices fell to 33,400 dong ($1.58) per kg on Tuesday, the lowest since November 2010, traders said, on the prospect of a record crop in the world's top robusta producer and tracking a drop in global prices.

Prices in Daklak, Vietnam's top coffee-growing province, were the lowest since Nov. 4, 2010.

Liffe January coffee ended 2 percent down at $1,585 a tonne on Monday, after dropping to $1,582, the lowest since September 2010.

Harvesting of the 2013/2014 crop is expected to accelerate in coming days, and fresh beans should arrive in bulk in early November, traders said. Output is projected to rise at least 10 percent from the previous year to 28 million bags.
