WORLD COFFEE PROSPECTS

    Episodes of scattered showers and thunderstorms in Sao Paulo and Minas

Gerias Brazil during the first half of next week will initiate additional

flowering of the trees.

    Drier weather would benefit the maturing crop in southern Mexico and

Central America.

    The main crop harvest in Colombia gets underway in September. Conditions

are mostly favorable.

    Rains through Vietnam has likely caused delays to the harvest of coffee

through the central highlands.
